Bordeux, France – The Bordeau-based Ligue 2 champions Bordea will face Nice in a Europa League first leg on Sunday.

Lyon beat Nice 3-1 at Stade de France on Saturday.

Bordeaux head coach Laurent Fauconnier was on hand to see his team take on the French side.

Fauconner said: “I can tell you that the players have been training well.

It was important to give our players a good workout.

The last few days we had a good session and it’s a good feeling to get a result against a top side.””

Nice have a good mentality, but they are a very good team.

They have had good results in recent years and we must do our best to defeat them.””

I am sure that Nice will be ready to defend their Europa League title,” FauConnier added.

“Bordea are a big club, but if we play our football we can take them.

We are ready to do everything.””

The Europa League is a very important competition for the French national team.

I can tell that we will do everything to make it a great game.””

Bordeac will be a strong team and will be hard to beat,” he added.”

We need to be ready for anything.

It’s a big game, but I know that we are ready.”

Lyon and Nice met twice earlier this season, with Bordeax beating Lyon 2-1 in the final on penalty kicks.

Nice won 1-0 on aggregate.
