Bordeux, France – The Bordeau-based Ligue 2 champions Bordea will face Nice in a Europa League first leg on Sunday.
Lyon beat Nice 3-1 at Stade de France on Saturday.
Bordeaux head coach Laurent Fauconnier was on hand to see his team take on the French side.
Fauconner said: “I can tell you that the players have been training well.
It was important to give our players a good workout.
The last few days we had a good session and it’s a good feeling to get a result against a top side.””
Nice have a good mentality, but they are a very good team.

Lyon and Nice met twice earlier this season, with Bordeax beating Lyon 2-1 in the final on penalty kicks.
