SpaceX is finally ready to put the solar sail in space and bring it to life.
The company has announced plans to launch its new solar sailing spacecraft, a first in a series of commercial space launches.
SpaceX has launched solar sail and solar power sources on multiple occasions.
The first solar sail went up in November and will be deployed on a SpaceX launch vehicle later this month.
Space X has also put a solar power source into space before.
The solar sail first went up on a Falcon 9 rocket in January 2018 and is currently on the rocket.
The ship is now set to be launched into orbit and will likely be used to power the station’s power grid.
The Falcon 9 was the first rocket to use the Falcon Heavy rocket.
A second solar sail was also launched in January, but the ship is not expected to be deployed in orbit until early 2020.
